I (some may say foolishly) signed up to run Reading Half Marathon on March 21st. Yep that's right 21 long kilometeres. God help me!
I'm running to raise money for Thames Reach - a London based homeless charity where I work as a volunteer outreach worker. I know you're always being pestered to sponsor various runs, jumps, climbs, swims and all manner of things BUT for those of you who know me well (as a non-running, recent ex-smoker) I'm sure you'll understand training for this ain't easy. It's proving quite a challenge; so I hope you can dig deep. Even if you can't dig deep please just give what you can afford - however humble. It will be much appreciated and well-spent.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
