I would like to acknowledge the tremendous help John Cornforth has given me in skiing up the Matterhorn in Switzerland and allowing the donations he raised to be added to the total fundraising for the Yorkshire Cancer Centre. John has also provided much help and encouragement with my cycle training that has transformed me into someone who can now tackle 30 mile rides with relative ease.  I'm almost ready for the demanding challenge of cycling approximately 200 miles across Cuba.

My inspiration for taking on this challenge was the the amazing care I received from the Yorkshire Cancer Centre during my treatment for cancer. 

Any sponsorship you can give me would be fantastic! My total fundraising target is £5000, (74% of that amount will go direct to the charity), the rest will pay towards the cost of my challenge.

My remaining fundrasing event is:

20th June, 70's & 80's Disco (Adults), Harrogate Squash & Fitness Centre, 7.30pm-Midnight.

This event promises to be an absolutely wonderful party with cool music, great food and super company. Lots of donated prizes are up for grabs via an auction and raffle. 70's and 80's props will be provided by Events prop hire, fancy dress is optional but the best dressed wins a meal for two at the Old Bell tavern in Harrogate.
