A few people have contacted Rachel Shelley Online wanting to support the site financially in some way as a “thank you”.  We have decided that we would like fans to show their support for the site by making a donation to help people who are much less fortunate than ourselves.  To this end Rachel has chosen one of her favourite charities - Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) – for us to back.  We would encourage you, if you enjoy the site, to make a donation however small. 

Donations are in GB pounds, but to help our American friends there are approximately 1.8 USD to 1 GBP.  So if you would like to make a donation of $10 that would be approximately £6 ($5=£3, $20=£12, $50 = £30).  For UK donors please consider “gift aiding” your donation.  This allows the charity to claim the tax back from the Government increasing your donation by 28%.  For the most up to date currency conversion go to the online calculator

It doesn’t matter how small your donation, every little helps.  It will make a significant difference to health care in third world countries that don’t enjoy the basic care we take for granted.  You do not have to give your name, you can donate anonymously or use your site username.
