Story

Hello and thanks very much for visiting my fundraising page, and thank you so much to everyone who has helped raise such a huge amount of money for SCOPE.

The support from everyone has been truly overwhelming.

The Pub Quiz back in May was a huge success attended by almost 150 people and raising a fantastic £1460. Thank you to Rob Walker for brilliant compering. We also had lots of generous helpers for our cake sale in August which well exceeded expectations, raising a further £580. And finally the brilliant Curry-oke night and Raffle on September 8th at the Cochin Brasserie in Putney which raised a massive £2525!!!

We are extremely grateful to everyone over the last 6 months who has bought raffle tickets, donated prizes, eaten cakes, answered quiz questions or simply made a donation to SCOPE.

The year's fundraising activities will culminate in a 375km cycle ride around Cuba (around 75km per day) for an extremely worthwhile cause. SCOPE is a fantastic charity, helping people with Cerebral Palsy, and working towards a society in which disabled people have the same human and civil rights as everyone else. You can find more information about how your money makes a difference at www.scope.org.uk.

Donating through Justgiving is totally secure and is the most efficient way to sponsor me: Scope gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
