Ahhh here we are, this is really happening...

So what started off as a passing comment over a dry chicken salad at lunchtime, we now have 7 wonderful Microsoft employees, confirming their attendance to the Thames Path Challenge 2016. This all certainly escalated pretty quickly, that's for sure...

So we've got a mixed bag of contenders... some of us are crazy enough to be walking the full 100km, with the added challenge of completing the route in 24hours (Mad right?!) Whilst some of us will be enjoying the slightly less gruelling, yet still challenging 50km walk...and that's where I come in!

Regardless of the distance we choose to walk, we will all unite on Saturday 10th September to absolutely smash this challenge, be proud of our achievement and most of all, raise some serious money for such an awesome charity.

I chose Tommy's as my nominated charity as it's something that sits very close to my heart. 

In the UK, 1 in 4 pregnancies will end in miscarriage, stillbirth or premature birth. Often, no one can tell parents why it happened. Their research aims to find out why pregnancy goes wrong and how to stop it happening.

The comforting news is that Tommy's exists to save babies' lives - that is their bottom line. They fund research into the causes and prevention of pregnancy complications that lead to miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, whilst also providing pregnancy health information for parents-to-be.

I'm extremely excited to be part of this challenge and to raise money for such a great charity.
