We DID IT!! WE RAN THE HORSFORTH 10K!!

We ran it to raise money for Kids Count - Radio Aire and Magic 828's official charity - to buy a holiday home near Filey, so that children being treated for cancer and life threatening blood disorders at Jimmy's can have a holiday with their families. 

MASSIVE THANKYOU to everyone who sponsored us - we totally smashed our target of £750 getting us so much closer to buying that holiday home - we just need another £4,000.

When we finished it... we even started to talk about "WHAT'S NEXT?"... so if you've got a challenge to set us .... 3 Peaks... Half Marathon... abseiling?... email us with your suggestions to ros.raine@radioaire.com

Here are our times - Joe from Hearty stormed in at 00.53.52, Jono made his running debut at 00.56.16, Alana will soon be running for Yorkshire 00.58.48, James (the dark horse) 1.00.36, Verity trains on hills and came in at 01.05.51, Sheila (with a knee injury) 01.07.48, Catherine looked fabulous as she crossed the finish at 01.08.42, Ros (can't run without Catherine on her right) in at 01.08.43, and Julie did us proud showing true grit and determination at 01.20.43.
