BBC Radio Merseyside is supporting Clatterbridge; Your Cancer Centre.

Join us at dinenr to rasie more money with a meal. The BBC Radio  Merseyside-wide dinner party is on Saturday  February 5th. Throw a party with your pals - raise money for our relatives' Room Appeal, and we'll provide the soundtrack live on air. We might even be popping round to sample your starter or dive into the dinner.

Already with the help of our listeners we've raised £70,000; enough to put two chemotheraphy cars on the road, pager systems which free patients coming for treatment from hours in the waiting room, and a special headframe which saves people from a round trip to Sheffield for treatment for brain tumours.

So thank you. But it's not over yet!

Wa want to create  Relatives' Rooms for those family members having to spend a lot of time at the hospital as their loved ones undergo treatment.

Imagine having to catch a few hours sleep in an armchair. Imagine having to do that for months on end. Wouldn't it be better if we could provide rooms with beds, and showers, so that families can at least be comfortable and rested at a very stressful time?

So join us as we raise £50,000 to improve the facilities for families at Clatterbridge.
