The RAF Benevolent Fund are the RAF's leading welfare charity providing practical, financial and - in some cases - emotional support to all members of the RAF family, from childhood through to old age. We help with issues from childcare and relationship difficulties to injury and disability, and from financial hardship and debt to illness and bereavement.
Over the next 7 months we and our friends in RAF's Specialist Recruiting teams aim to undertake a variety of fitness based events to raise money for the RAF Benevolent Fund. We will be adding photos, videos and anything else we can to entertain you as we get it! We will be fundraising by:

- Warming up with the Lincoln 10km race on March 21st.
- In May with (hopefully) loads of colleagues from Cranwell, we'll be running, cycling and rowing our way across the equivalent distance of Cranwell where we are based, all the way to Central Helmand, Afghanistan, where many of our friends are right now. We'll finish it on May 27/8th with a 24hr straight effort over the last 1000km.
- We'll be entering other road races as well – provided we get through the ballots!
- And we finish it all with the BUPA Great North Run 2010. If you've got any ideas for fundraising, please let us know......... We're not looking for you to sponsor us per mile or even per day – just give what you can, and if you then decide you can give a little more then give again. Tell your friends and anyone else that will listen because we really want to give the RAF Benevolent Fund the best possible total we can!
