Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

Kisharon Langdon offers education, opportunity and support for people within the Jewish learning disability and autism community throughout life’s journey. The education and supported living services, innovative social enterprises and employment support services enable everyone we support to thrive.

Story

Over the last few months I have had the pleasure of visiting many of Kisharon's services. Without fail, I leave inspired and uplifted at the way in which the charity cares for the most vulnerable learning disabled, from the youngest to the elderly members of our community.

It is for this reason that I have decided to run the Flora London Marathon on Sunday 26th April raising money for this incredible cause.

The decision to run was not an easy one. With 6am Sunday morning runs in the rain and snow, and fortnightly visits to the physio to treat various injured aches and pains, I have often questioned my decision. Knowing, however, that I am raising money for a charity so dedicated to helping the learning disabled reach their full potential, has provided me with the inspiration to help me reach my goal.

I do hope you are able to support me in my endeavour; any donation large or small will be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes,

Rafi
