This year on the 13th of March will be twelve years since my Father passed away and on the 22nd of March would have been his 60th birthday.  In memory of this I am doing something different....the ROME Marathon which takes place on the 16th of March.

My aim is..... not just to complete this event, but to raise as much money as possible for my chosen charity, St. Catherine's Hospice in Preston.
As some of you already know, St Catherine's Hospice is where my Father was cared for in the final stages of his life.

In my Father’s memory we donate regularly to this charity to show our appreciation for the care, commitment and ongoing hard work they provide to make life comfortable and easier for those who are ill and their families.
