A team of 5 novices, for whom the Great North Bike Ride is a big challenge.

 

Three members work in the Children, f amilies and Learning Department of Middlesbrough Council and the other two are family members.

 

Support is also being provided by family members and a van is being loaned by Aycliffe Coachworks.

 

As a team we are currently training to meet this challenge and would appreciate as much encouragement as possible (Also Known as 'as much money donated to the Christopher Lucus Trust as possible). 

 

Please sponsor us to help research into Rhabdomyosarcoma, (a very aggressive cancer) that effects young adults. Christopher was just 18 when he died.

The Christopher Lucus Trust

The Chris Lucas Trust is established to raise sufficient funds for a Scientific Researcher.

To encourage and support high quality research into Rhabdomyosarcoma, (a very aggressive cancer), with the aim of maintaining and improving human health. 

To help improve the quality of life of children and young adults.  

To advance scientific research and disseminate knowledge of research findings to help other types of cancers with the aim of meeting national needs in terms of health, quality of life of children and young adults.  

To promote public engagement with medical research.  

To work in collaboration with all medical staff to ensure that the Chris Lucas Trust aims and objectives are adhered to, achieved.
