Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity, supporting young lives from birth to 18. Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across North East Scotland who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs.

Story

Support Cash for Kids in a unique challenge that will see Scottish rally sensation Stevie Brown dawn his running shoes in a bid to discover if he is faster by foot, or behind the wheel of his rally car.

Stevie will contest the Granite City Rally on April 16th behind the wheel of his Subaru Impreza. The total time taken for the DMACK Tyres supported driver to complete the 45 stage mile route will set the benchmark for Stevie to try and beat when he takes part in the Baker Hughes 10K Fun Run in Aberdeen in May.

Stevie says, “10 kilometres doesn’t seem that far on paper, but when you consider we may complete the rally sub 40 minutes, which could potentially mean I have to run sub 7 minute miles, which could be hard going! So I really need your help to raise as much money as possible so we can help Cash for Kids make a real difference, and improve the quality of life of local disabled, disadvantaged and neglected children. Thank you in advanced for your generosity and support!”
