We did it - we climbed the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales - all in under 24 hours!

During May I undertook the National 3 Peaks challenge. We completed our challenge in 22hours 14mins including all driving and rest time.

Ben Nevis ascent - 2 hrs 5 mins (2 min summit rest)

Ben Nevis descent - 1 hr 45 mins

Ben Nevis total time - 3 hrs 52 mins

Scafell Pike ascent - 3 hrs 32 mins (nearly got lost in dark + mist!!)

Scafell Pike descent - 2 hrs (summit rest of 8 mins)

Scafell Pike total time - 5 hrs 40 mins

Snowdon ascent - 1 hr 35 mins (summit rest - 15 mins)

Snowdon descent - 1 hr 49 mins

Snowdon total time - 3 hrs 39 mins

£44 - donating just £44 will sponser a child for 1 whole year! This will cover their school fees. most large families can only afford to send one child in a family to secondary school. With this money you can help sponser gifted and talented pupils who's families can't afford to send them to school.

£40 - donating £40 will cover a teachers salary for 1 month. On average a teacher will be paid a salary of about £450 per year!

£20 - The classrooms are built but many still don't have basic facilities. Each £20 donation will buy a new desk for the classrooms.

£8 - Teachers and students need resources, most of all textbooks. Also the library needs to pay for subscriptions and new reading material. £8 is the average cost for a textbook or library book.
