A message from after the walk for you all to see:

Hello I am Eleanor Walley and I am aged 11 my mum is Claire Walley.Today we walked the lovely walk through the countryside in aid of the terrible problem Mark Robinson sadly died of. We were on foot walking for around 5 and a half hours alongside some of mine and my mums friends, who are Gia and her mum and Jonty and his mum. The scenery made it extremely worthwile for all of us even though my legs felt like they were dropping off! Normally, I would be complaining by an hour but because it was for such a good aid I completed the 10 miles willingly wanting to raise money! Thank you for organising it Anne.

                                    From Eleanor

We have all been affected by the loss of Mark Robinson last October, when acute clinical depression made him decide the world would be a better place without him.

We all know how wrong he was.

Our understanding of depression, it's causes and treatment need to be greatly improved.

A new charity " Mental Health Research UK"  led by Professor Clair Chilvers need funds to try and answer many of these questions.

A group of family and friends of Mark and his family  walked 10 miles in the hills of Long Mynd, on Saturday 26th June,  to raise money for this charity.

Please, please support us by donating money to this worthwhile cause so that others struggling with mental illness can get the help they deserve.

To help us, sponsor the Long Mynd walkers, devise your own fundraising activity (the crazier the better) or simply make a donation.

"Ramble for Robbo" is not just about the walk, it's all about the cause.

Thankyou to Denise Green for raising £500 with a cricket match and quiz in August. The support goes on!

Thankyou Park Issa Vets especially Kerry for ALL your hard work Raising over £3,300  and for sponsoring the badges.

Thankyou Steve Gillian & the reps for Grove Vet Hospital in raising nearly £450 Fantastic

Thankyou Intervet & Spenny for £1,000 and Professor Clair Chilvers for singing her way to  £352

Thankyou Euan for donating your speaker's fund for the local "Field Group"

Thankyou to Gary Watson & Sam Green who raised just under £600 running the Bath Half marathon. Great effort guys and thankyou so much
