Hello
Over the next few weeks, I will be taking part in a couple of challenges in order to raise funds for Friends of the Citizens' Foundation.
First, I will cycle from London to Paris and three weeks later, climb Mount Kilimanjaro
The first challenge is a 385km cycle ride over three days. I leave London on the 24th of September and after three days of cycling, arrive in Paris on the evening of the 26th of September.
This will give me approximately three weeks to recover as I fly to Tanzania on the 16th of October to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Mount Kilimanjaro's snow capped summit reaches 19,340 ft (5895m); It is the tallest mountain in Africa and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. Some of you might be aware that I suffer from vertigo so the real challenge here will be to keep my balance at the top!
The target is to raise £10,000 which will cover the running cost of a primary school for a year. If you would like more information on the charity, please visit www.ftcf.org.uk or get in touch with me.
Many thanks for your support.
Rameez
