On the 22nd August Harm, Martin, Marcelo and Ryan will embark on the journey of a 'wifetime' - THE RAMSHACKLE RALLY VALENCIA!! Ramshackle Valencia is the epitome of absurdity. We must place our trust in a hundred quid's worth of scrap metal and set off on an epic banger rally covering 1450 miles (that's right, we have to cross France, Italy and Spain in a car worth £100!!). One hundred teams will compete in what promises to be the craziest banger rally on the European circuit before joining in with 40,000 others lobbing squashed tomato's at each other at the famous Tomato Festival - La Tomatina!! The 19 year old BMW that was chosen for the task is currently undergoing a transformation. The chosen theme is 118 118 and we will dress ourselves and 'the beast' accordingly. Although this is going to be a lot of fun for us, we're still trying to do our bit and are driving in aid of a charity called 'The Food Chain' (http://www.foodchain.org.uk). Ryan has been a volunteer for this charity for about six years and amongst other things, has managed to set their kitchen on fire (no joke)!!
