This coming August we are entering two teams into the Ramshackle Rally 2006 (www.RamshackleRally.com) in aid of the White Lodge Foundation in Chertsey.

All cars on the rally must cost less than £100. We are entered in a Peugeot 309Gti converted to a turbo diesel engine from a 306 that we will be running on vegetable oil, and a Peugeot 405 TD. We hope to have some pictures up soon of our progress. First prize is £1250, second £250 and third £100. Any prize money collected will go straight to the White lodge and as we are competing to raise money for a charity all winnings will have 50% added by the Ramshackle Rally organizers, this means there is a potential to raise a lot of money for this worthy cause.

We depart from Calais on the 4^th of August and head for Geneva on the first day, where we will stop overnight. The second stage takes us across the Swiss Alps to Innsbruck in Austria, where we will stop overnight again and prepare to head for Bratislava. The final stage takes us through Slovakia and past the boarders of the Czech Republic and up through Poland to Krakow . The rally is approximately 1500 miles.

On completion of the rally we will be driving back from Krakow to The Sands pub on chertsey road in Woking, where we will be auctioning off the 405 and various other items in aid of the White Lodge. It all starts on the 12th of August 2006 at midday till 4pm. So head on over and grab your self a beer and bargain and most of all, enjoy the day. Lets make as much as we can for this worthy cause.
