UPDATE!

Well, we did it!  15 days of ups downs and lots of wheel spinning around!  It was truely an amazing experience and although neither of us would like to repeat it, We are so very glad we did!   90 miles and 11 hours on the bike one day, but mostly only 8 hours and about 65/70 Miles..so not too bad really!

You simply cannot prepare yourself for Scottish (or Cornish) Hills, Roads that really do run forever, unbareable heat, rain that actually is so hard it hurts and tiredness that makes you feel drunk!!!! Think running a marathon everyday....

We have met the most incredible people. cars stopping, people in Pubs and shops all donating to the charity - total strangers. Its honestly put our faith back in people.   We met people who'd lost family members and who had first hand experience of the work the Charity does. At the end of our trip we met 4 guys doing the trip the other way round - on a quad! And people think we're mad! 

We live in a beautiful country and we now really appreciate how lucky we are.

Both of us lived close to a Children’s Hospice when we were growing up, raising money at school and taking part in various fundraising activities. Hospices are poorly funded by the government and rely so much on charitable donations and fundraising events.
