Rave Ride 2025

Steven Smith is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Rave and Ride · 14 May 2016

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

25/03/24

The idea behind Rave & Ride came from the death of my mother from Motor Neurone Disease 29 years ago. Countless events over the years coupled with hard training nearly broke me after raising £175,000, and then along came Covid and a pause.

But how do you stop, when you can make a difference to someone??

Enter Katie :-) and her Stage 4 Cancer Diagnosis :-(

Katie is an inspiration, a close friend, and mum to two young, very lively girls. Wife to one of my best mates Andy.

Her journey is documented here.

Please take time out to read and donate and help us make a difference.

For me and my incredible Rave & Ride team, it was simple, we put on a 6 hour indoor cycling event at the Marlow Club in February and raised nearly £10,000 :-)

So what next........................... :-) ?????
