Thank you for looking at my page. I decided that if I got into the Virgin London Marathon I would run for the Meningitis trust as a friend of mine (who I run with) her grandson contracted this disease,  ended up fighting for his life. He was lucky in the respect thet he survived, but the hospital had to amputate his leg below the knee and some fingers. All this was happening whilst his mother was 7.5 months pregnant with twins! This september saw him start main stream school.He is a very happy little boy who has made wonderful progress.  The help that the family received from  Meningitis Trust  (and still do) has been amazing, so this is my way of saying thank you, thank you for all the help that they do, thank you for making families who suffer from this disease, feel supported.

Every penny counts, so if you can only afford to give a little bit, a little bit from a lot of people goes a long way.
