IAHV in association with Art of Living Foundation have launched a massive relief operation in the flood affected areas of Bihar, India where an estimated 2.5 million people are affected. A total of 1600 villages have been marooned by the deluge which occurred in August when the river Kosi changed its course after it burst a dam upstream in Nepal. The organization has issued a heart-felt appeal to everyone to donate generously to help the victims of the disaster.
On a personal note I would like to add that my wife hails from the region and her family has been rescued and are well looked after but there are millions of helpless victims still in need of basic necessities.
IAHV and Art of Living along with numerous other charities are working round the clock to bring relief to the victims of the disaster.
I will be very grateful if you can dig deep into your pockets and contribute generously.
