My personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

I ran the half marathon on Sunday 12 October with about 12,500 other runners on one of the most beautiful days imaginable. I'm pleased to say that my official time was 1 hour 56 minutes and 43 secs (which included an unscheduled but very necessary 1 minute 30 second comfort break). Breaking the 2 hour barrier helped increase the total amount of sponsorship which, as you can see, has already exceeded my target of £3000.

You have been phenomenally generous and supportive not just in giving but in encouraging me throughout my training over the summer and supporting me on the day. I've really enjoyed the experience and, I know, Austim Speaks are delighted with the total donation - they have been in touch to tell me so.

UPDATE AS AT 27 OCTOBER If you look at the on and offline totals at the bottom of this page, you will see that, with Gift Aid supplement, the total raised to date is £4,083.31. The £621 raised offline has now been collected and forwarded to Autism Speaks. This means that once Justgiving's charges have been deducted, the total actually receivable by Autism Speaks will be a little under £4k which is really wonderful.

With many, many thanks to each and all.
