Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

We lost our beautiful Evie in May 08' after a short battle against a very aggressive cancer. Her loss has left a huge hole in our lives and we are trying hard to do something positive in her memory.

To that end,  I am going to cycle from the new Demelza Hospice in Eltham (SE9) to Demelza House in Sittingbourne on Sunday 3rd May. The distance will be roughly 50 miles and I have been working hard to get fit since August 2008. I have been working out at least 4 times a week since then at our local gym to give myself the best opportunity of completing the cycle ride without enabling Karen to cash in on my life policies!!! In addition I have been cycling routes around our home with my "team" of fundraisers.

This cycle ride will be with a group of friends also taking part and we hope to raise at least £20000!!! This would be my way of saying a BIG thank you to Demelza House for looking after Evie and us as a family when we had to say our final goodbyes May 6th 2008.

Please sponsor me for as much as you can - help me to help other families in the same dreadful position that we were in. Demelza House makes a huge difference - this is your way of making a difference too.

UPDATE - Fundraising Total at 24/04/09 = £19500. Please help us to get to our target of £20,000.
