My reason for taking part in the Kilimanjaro Challenge is that I have a personal interest in the fight against HIV/AIDS. A close Papua New Guinean friend of mine is involved in the education of men and women in remote village communities in the Dogura Province in Papua New Guinea about safe sex practices and social stigmas connected with HIV/AIDS. This is particularly challenging work as my friend is a woman and PNG is an extremely male dominated society.

I would appreciate your donation to my fundraising efforts as the funds raised through the Kilimanjaro Challenge go to VSO's work in East Africa, specifically Kenya and Tanzania, in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
