Story

Thank you for visiting the Raymond Brown Group 3 Peaks Challenge fundraising page.

So what’s it all about?   We have 10 ‘volunteers’ from across the Group taking part in this gruelling event which involves climbing the 3 highest peaks in Britain – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon – all within a mere 24 hours!

In addition we have a support team of 4 drivers who will be burning the midnight oil as they transfer our walkers from peak to peak, giving them a chance to sleep en-route as well as keeping them fed and watered throughout the event.

The event takes place over the weekend of 17 & 18 May 2008, and training is well underway with our 2 teams coming together on a fortnightly basis to trudge their way through various parts of the local countryside, taking in as many hills as possible.

Our target is to raise a minimum of £12,000, which we hope to achieve through a variety of events, as well as from sponsorship.

All donations will be gratefully received – as the saying goes “every little helps”.

If you would like to sponsor a particular walker – please leave them a personal message of support in the comments box.
