We are raising funds in memory of Raymond Davis for Bethesda Hospice in Stornoway, by running the Stornoway 10K on 29th of May 2010. An ever growing bunch of us are pulling on our trainers (some for the first time!) and running 10k in honor of Raymond. Everyone who knew him knows what an incredible man he was, doing so much for so many people, and he has been sorely missed since he passed away from Cancer last June.
And this is where you, our sponsors, come in! If it wasn't for the generosity of people like you, our wonderful Father, Husband, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle & fantastic friend Raymond would not have spent his last days in the kind and exceptional care of the wonderful staff at Bethesda Hospice. This fundraiser is a thank you to all the staff who took great care of him, and his family, in his last few weeks.
Bethesda Hospice provides a
much-needed
and caring service to those who are terminally ill and who require
specialist palliative care. The hospice is the only facility of it’s kind in the Western Isles and runs without any state assistance therefore relies on charitable contributions, grants and fundraising.
