Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

After a total of nine rejections between us, Colin and I have finally managed to successfully enter this years' London Marathon. Having both completed the Edinburgh marathon in 2006 (on what seemed to be the hottest day in Scotland's history) we vowed never to run one again. But here we are, determined to eradicate the horrific memories of three years ago and attempt to beat the magic 4 hour barrier.

We are hoping to raise funds for the MRI Scanner Appeal at Harefield Hospital.  MRI scanners have already touched both our lives, with scans almost certainly saving my father's life, after a very serious head injury, and Colin having had scans on a badly injured knee. A sum of £1.5m is needed to purchase the new state of the art scanner and I know that every penny is very gratefully received. You can take a look yourself by visiting the following website:

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital Charitable Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please, please sponsor us now! We really appreciate your help and support.

With our very best wishes

Ray & Colin
