23 February - 1st March 2009 - The Student Volunteering Week team worked hard outside the union all week manning a variety of food and game stalls.
10th January 2009 - Sarah, Nadine and Ruth braved Edinburgh's freezing winds in the Great Winter Run.
7th December 2008 - The Tyne Bridge Abseil was a roaring success. We have raised almost £1700 so far!
6th December 2008 - The Great Gate Bucket Shake 2.0 raised £326.58 within 3 hours! Thank you again generous Geordies!
3rd December 2008 - The Christmas Mince Pie & Cake sale (and Live Free for a Week Raffle) raised £159.16. Thank you bakers, donators and sales people.
In November Vicky & Harriet successfully completed a 24 hour fast, raising £50 each and making for a very grumpy house.
18th November 2008 - With the help of Alone in the Dark Entertainment, the freezing cold Ghost Walk around Newcastle's most haunted raised £163.
8th November 2008 - We raised £519.37 in African fancy dress @ The Great Gate Bucket Shake!
4th November 2008 - A cake sale outside the union organised by Emma, Alicia and Alex raised £108.14!
24th October 2008 - The Pick 'n' Mix Mega Challenge raised a whopping £155!
