READ international is a student led educational charity operating across universities in the UK. We collect disused, high-quality textbooks from secondary schools across the UK and send them to secondary schools in East Africa.

To date, we have sent over 500,000 textbooks to Tanzanian schools. With only 50 pence you can send a textbook to a Tanzanian child!

The Sussex Book Project aims to raise £5,500 in order to send 20,000 textbooks to Tanzania next summer. We need your donations and support! Email us at sussex@readbookproject.org.uk if you are interested in volunteering or just want more information.
