Royal Berks - Snowdonia Mountain Marathon · 3 September 2010 ·

Royal Berks Charity supports the Royal Berkshire NHS FT. Through fundraising and donations we are able to add extra value and support pioneering work for those that need us. We hope our work inspires you to join us on this exciting journey to help more patients and their families every day.

Story

Covering 26 miles in 24 hours and climbing 11,000 ft (that’s one third the height of Everest), our Reading 107 team has joined the Snowdonia Mountain Challenge supporting The Royal Berkshire Hospital's Robbie the Robot Appeal.

This really is a mountain of a challenge as all team members are inexperienced. But with a 14 week training programme and with support from reading 107fm listeners, we hope to do Reading proud.

Find out more about Robbie, and the important work he does at http://www.royalberkshire.nhs.uk/robotappeal

Donate here and, your money will be sent directly to the charity, plus Gift Aid reclaimed on eligible donations by UK taxpayers. It’s the most efficient way to donate - Raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Run a business?. Why not buy a ‘Flag for Robbie’. We aim produce and take 100 flags with us to the summit of Snowdon.
