I have a special challenge - to raise £100,000 to buy land and build a new school for the Nagajuna School in Nepal.
The landlord of the current residence has sold it from under us and we were forced to leave at the end December 08. Pokhara is densely populated and land at premium as it’s sandwiched between mountains and a lake. It appears that our only option, if we want to continue providing a home to these kids, is to build something.
Thus me and a band of intrepid adventurers did The 3 Peaks Challenge – the three highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scar Fell) and Wales(Snowdon) in 24 hours ! We managed it in 23 hours and 48 mins - phew ! My feet are ruined but I can just about walk again !
