Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I am running the London Marathon in April and am raising money for ADD - Action on Disability and Development. They are a small charity who do some great work around disability. Their blurb is below. Please take a moment to read it.

'ADD is the only UK based charity supporting disabled people in Africa and Asia with a human rights approach to development.  Our work comes from what disabled people want, not what we think they need.  In our experience what disabled people want is the same opportunities in life afforded to non-disabled people.  To be able to go to school, get a job, get married, access healthcare - and be treated with dignity and respect. 

1 in 5 of the worlds poorest people are disabled - but they are overlooked by other international development, reflief and aid agencies.  Since 1985 ADD has directly supported over 170,000 disabled people and many more indirectly through changes to legislation - your support means we can reach even more disabled people'.
