Anyone who knows me will know I am in no way, shape or form a runner, but there is something overwhelming that grasps you when you think about someone as strong and inspiring as Kirsty. 

Not everyone reading this will know her story, but over the last few years she fought through so much, yet never stopped smiling, laughing or looking forward to the future. Devastatingly, earlier this year, just days days after she turned 16, Kirsty lost her battle, however she is by no means gone in peoples' hearts or memories. 

A wonderful group of ladies from Dowson decided they would show how inspiring Kirsty has been to them by running the Race for Life this Summer. At first I thought about just sponsoring everyone, because she would have been so proud of them all, but nothing shows support more than getting stuck right in. So here I am, running the Manchester Race for Life 10k in July, who would have thought it?!
