SAS has been such a fantastic support  and life line for many of my stroke patients and their families. Stroke can result in devastating effects on people's ability to participate in what we consider to be 'normal life'. SAS gives people opportunities to build confidence, relearn skills and build new friendships after a stroke. SAS's success is down to the dedication of people that  volunteer  their time and its inspirational members.
