Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

In September 2004 a very good friend of ours passed away, aged 34, after contracting a heart condition known as Cardiomyopathy.

This disease affects all ages & is the No. 1 cause of sudden death in the under 35's. It is often inherited & if diagnosed & treated many people with this condition can go on to live long & full lives.

The Cardiomyopathy Association (a registered charity) support & offer information to families affected with the condition. It is campaigning for more heart checks & genetic tests to find those at risk & save lives.

The CMA receive no government funding & rely on fundraising to help raise awareness.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cardiomyopathy Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
