The kids' final countdown for Lent! · 9 February 2016

Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We provide information and support to patients and their families and help myeloma patients live longer, with a better quality of life by accelerating the discovery, development of and access to new treatments.

Story

This year mummy is trying to raise £10,000 to reach £100,000 for Myeloma UK. And we want to help her!

I (Rebecca), have decided this year, to give up juices, tea (my favourite!) and biscuits. This is going to be a challenge for me as every day I normally have a biscuit and now I'll have to have more healthy things! Last year I raised £370 giving up sweets and chocolate, so I want to raise as much as possible this year even though, we know it might not be as much again.

I (Sam), have decided to give up sweets, chocolate and crisps for the whole of Lent and help mummy to reach her target. It is going to be very hard and a challenge for me! But Rebecca did it last year so I have to do it this year!

If you can sponsor us, we will be very happy! We hope maybe our friends from our old and new schools might sponsor us - every 50p counts!

Thank you

Your loving friends
