Story
The Challenge: To drive from London (or somewhere else in England) to Kribi in the Cameroon, Africa! In a car costing less than £500!! On roads, or no roads across deserts and rivers. (Oh yeah - and it mustn't have more than 1000cc engine)!!!
We are Dave Harvey and Graham Burkhardt (a.k.a Red Scorpions) and we have gained a place on the Africa Rally 2009 - a difficult feat to achieve in the first place! We are part of a 200 car fleet departing the UK on Sunday 13th December 2009, so will probably be eating Xmas dinner in the middle of a desert somewhere, all in the name of Adventure Research - and raising money for charity in the process!!
Our chosen mode of transport is a red 1987 Renault 4 and we would love you to support us on our journey of a lifetime.
