Story
It is every boy's dream to pilot a jet aircraft...unfortunately we do not have perfect eyesight. However now, thanks to the wonderment of modern technology, for Bernard and his two sons, James and Matt, that dream is about to become reality.
As part of our marafundraising attempt for the MS Trust we present:
The Red Arrows Running Display Team
As a tribute to the amazing aerial displays of those magnificent men in their flying machines, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, we have created ....erm...a land-based alternative.
Following an intensive four month research & development effort our technical running arrow costumes have been fine-tuned for optimum air-resistance and we are reasonably confident that they will not fall apart before mile 8. We have spent literally minutes perfecting our display patterns - safety is of course our highest priority.
We will be wowing the crowds at the Great North Run this year with our intricate routines - not quite breaking the sound barrier. Click the link to the left to get a taster from our promotional video.
The MS Trust
We are raising money for the MS Trust because our Auntie Celia suffers from Multiple Sclerosis. This is an absolutely devastating and unpredictable disease which affects every aspect of life. The vision of the MS Trust is to enable people with MS to live their lives to the full. We would be really grateful if you could help us to raise money for this cause by sponsoring us in our running antics.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
