I did it! Just under 56 minutes and came 1777th out of 11,000.

Thank you all so much for you support. It was a cracking morning and at around the 8 kilometer mark I swore never to do it again. Although I feel slightly different now when I see how much you all helped me to raise.

The race itself went well but I did become a little concerned at the halfway point when I was passed by an elderly gentleman competitor pushing his wife in her wheelchair. I kept a good pace by following Batman and Robin for about 6 kilometers but they managed to get away from me.

All in all a great day made even better by your generosity. Thank you again.
