Thanks for taking the time to visit the Redgrave Crew JustGiving page.

It’s 10 years since Steve Redgrave won his last Olympic Gold Medal, making him the most successful ever British Olympian. In that decade he has continued to inspire millions of people while raising over £5 million for charity.

Race Across America is his latest challenge. Joined by a team of former rowers and friends Steve and his team are competing in the toughest cycle race in the world. Crossing from Oceanside, California to Annapolis, Maryland, a distance of 3,000 miles in just 8 days, crossing 14 States, 2 mountain ranges, 100,000ft of climbing (that's more than 3 times the height of Mt Everest!) and every extreme of weather; this is the ultimate cycling challenge.

The Redgrave Crew aim to raise £100,000 for the Steve Redgrave Fund and Sport Relief. That equates to £1 for every foot of climbing.

The Steve Redgrave Fund aims to use the power of sport and sporting activity to bring about positive change in the lives of disadvantaged children, young people and their communities.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

P.S. If you'd like to follow the crew in the build up to the race go to www.sirsteveredgravecrew.co.uk or follow on Twitter at @redgravecrew
