Red Knees Day · 6 September 2009

Raises money to enrich & support the experience of pupils. Now has a major building project to allow the school to continue in its position at the heart of the village community. It has to find 10% of costs. A major result will be a hall big enough to accommodate all pupils for assembly, PE etc.

Story

Please start your message with the name(s) or team you are sponsoring, thanks!

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Red Knees JustGiving page in support of St James CE Primary School PTA's build appeal.

Based on an ancient Malvern legend whereby a monk crawled up Ragged Stone hill every day for 10 years as penance for transgressions, we will be crawling up the highest point of the Malvern hills, the Worcestershire Beacon, for sponsorship!

We have chosen to support two charities at this event - West Malvern village school's build appeal and the Noah's Ark Trust for bereaved children.  Money raised offline through traditional sponsor forms will be split 60% to St James and 40% to Noah's Ark.  If you would like to follow this line please also consider visiting our Noah's Ark page at www.justgiving.co.uk/redkneesday2 and splitting your donation between the sites.

If you're supporting a particular participant in the event, please mention their name when you leave a message (there's a prize for the child who raises the most sponsorship!)

If you would like to take part in the event or find out more, please see www.redkneesday.co.uk or www.helpstjames.org
