Story
What a brilliant day was had by families in Hohne on Sunday at the Red Rat Race. The weather was perfect and everyone had fun, espeically the kids. Photos to follow, but in the meantime, you can see the guys and girls running the race at the same time in Bastion: http://ukforcesafghanistan.wordpress.com/2011/05/02/red-rats-run-in-the-desert/
Huge thanks to Michele and Carolyn for all their hard work, and also to all the helpers that were on hand on the day - THANK YOU!

Help support soldiers from 7th Armoured Brigade - the Desert Rats - and their families particularly during the current deployment to Afghanistan.
The Red Rat Race is a fun day for all the family - rain or shine, we'll be there running, walking, waddling or toddling! Members of 7 Brigade in Camp Bastion will be taking part in their own Red Rat Race on the same day - look out for coverage on BFBS TV.
All money raised from this event will go SSAFA Forces Help in the Hohne, Fallingbostel and Celle Garrison, so please dig deep and donate now.
If you are part of 7 Brigade and would like to take part, you can just turn up at the Roundhouse on Sunday 1 May - registration is from 1pm. All children will receive a medal and a goodie bag. Hot dogs, burgers and refreshments will also be available. If you don't want to run, do just come to support us.
