My story

 
Reflections Nursery in Worthing, West Sussex is supporting a charity project to raise £20,000 to build and equip a pre-school for 270 children in Ghana through Plan UK, a registered charity supporting under-privileged children worldwide.  

 

This project aims to provide access to good quality childhood care and development in the Dalanyiri community of Ghana’s Upper West Region – one of the poorest areas of the country.  

 

We have raised £6,500 by end of 2009 and we have been promised a further £12,500 by a generous anonymous donor so we only have £1000 to go!!


Our findraising has included the sale of children’s artwork in the nursery as part of the West Sussex Artists & Makers Festival and a Pier-to-Pier sponsored walk covering the 13 miles from Brighton to Worthing.
