Dear all, It is with regret that the Raft Race due to take place on Thursday has to be postponed. The Environment Agency has issued a warning about the velocity of the river following heavy rain with more rain due in the coming days. At the moment, the river is flowing downstream faster than our fastest ever rafters can row upstream (about three to four times as fast as most rafts can muster). The Raft Race has been rescheduled to Thursday 13 September 2012. All entries will be honoured for this date. WaterAid is speaking to Justgiving to extend the dates associated with this event. For more information please contact the Raftrace team.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page for the Water Regulations team at Thames Water.
Our talented team are the 'Regs Racers' (Martin Oscar, Tim St Jean, Ted Reeves, Alex Saunders, James Groves & Stuart Webber) and the event takes place on 19 July so please dig deep and donate now to support your chosen team and WaterAid.
The 6 courageous members of the team will race a home-built raft for one mile on the River Thames near Caversham Bridge. There are 40 teams competing and each will design, build and decorate their rafts and compete in fancy dress!
