11 weeks of long hard training came to end at 0530 sunday 7th Dec.  As the gun went off, the long slog of 42.2 and a bit KM started.

For all 3 of us, it was our first marathon, we knew it would be hard but were not expecting what happened when we all "Hit the wall".  Eroni said it well at the end, "We faced our own personal battles ot there".

Although the timings were never important we finished in 4 hours (Eroni), 4h 35m (Dan) and 4h 45m (Jase). Bearing in mind that out of 11,000 male competitors we all featured well within the top 1,700.

As for the fundraising, this page will remain open for a while as yet, and I will be adding all total collected off line in the near future. A massive thanks to everyone who has donated.
