My story
Fiona Jane Claisse (previous Grantham) died on the 18th January 2012 after battling Bowel Cancer which was diagnosed just 4 months earlier.
As part of her funeral and remembrance we are asking anyone who might have wanted to buy flowers, has chosen one of Fiona's photographs or simply wants to show their support and condolences, to help us raise money for St Barnabas House by donating through this Just Giving page.
St Barnabas House offered Fiona crucial support and advice from the minute she was diagnosed right through to her final days. Anytime we were unsure how to deal with Fi's pain or symptoms (and there were many days) the nurses and doctors were only a phone call away, day or night. And when things became more serious we were welcomed into the hospice to stay for as long as Fi wanted, and treated with such kindness & dignity. The nurses and doctors truly deserve the highest praises for the work they did to make Fi's final weeks far more happy and relaxed.
Please help St Barnabas to continue to be able to offer such a tremendous service that we would have been lost without.
