On October 5th 2008, I will be taking part in the Great  North Run in order to raise funds for C-R-Y - Cardiac Risk in the Young

We have become aware of this charity since the tragic death of my sister Sarah Simpson, aged 20, from an undiagnosed heart condition in April last year.

The race is a 13 mile trip and will be a major personal challenge, which I am determined to complete in a respectable time (to be decided at a later date!)
