2010 will see me complete my second marathon (note the use of the affirmative future tense there - it's all about positive thinking). Once was clearly not enough and three years on I am going for it all over again!

I will be running the inaugural Brighton Marathon on April 18th and I am running for the Stonewall organisation. Stonewall work to promote equality for the Lesbians, Gay and Bisexual community. Significant successes to date include helping achieve the equalisation of the age of consent and securing civil partnerships. As I have recently enjoyed my own civil partnership, it seems a very apt cause for me to support. 

I am also keeping a blog so I can keep track of how my training is going (http://resettozero.blogspot.com/). It's also a great way for me to share with family and friends as to how I am doing, so please feel free to hassle and berate me if you don't think I am training enough!

Finally, what's 'Reset to Zero' all about I hear you ask?. It's all about starting all over again - getting off your arse, getting fit and getting out there - and hopefully complete a successful marathon.
