Tri For Life - Charity Triathlon · 6 September 2009 ·

tri for life presents the Woburn Abbey Triathlon. A unique multi-sport event where all profits made are donated to charity, supporting families up and down the country. Races include WoBurner Middle Distance, Olympic, Sprint, kids scootathlon or Junior tri on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th September 2019

Story

On Sunday the 6th September 2009, Team RXR are entering the Tri for Life Charity Triathlon at Eton Rowing Lake. Please check http://www.triforlife.co.uk/charities.html for more information on the charities we will be supporting.

The team consists of:

800m Swim - Peter Shrimpton

Managing Director and seasoned Triathlon achiever, Peter recently completed a Half Iron Man. Having not yet found a way to use his blackberry in the water, we are all expecting big things on the swim!

30k Bike - Tim Kirk

Senior Consultant and self-confessed exercise-phobic, Tim has put down the pint glass in favour of training. He's borrowed a road racer from a colleague and once he's figured out how to use it, he's aiming to complete 30k in under an 1hr 10m.

7.5k Run - Elliot Clements

Managing Consultant for RXR, Elliot is just as at home in a pair of running shoes as he is on the phone. Having completed the Paris Marathon in 3hrs 45m we're expecting him to show Usain Bolt how things are really done.

Please dig deep. If just 70 of our friends, family, colleagues and clients sponsor just £10 each, we will achieve our £700 target for these important charities.
