Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

Thanks for visiting this page, I've set it up in the hope that I can raise some more cash for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.  I'm heading to Sweden on the 17th of June to take part in the Vatternrundan event for the third time.  For those that don't know, Vatternrundan is the largest recreational cycling event in the world.  It takes place around the shores of Lake Vattern and covers a distance of 300km, at night!

Lesley and I both took part last year but she's seen sense and will be safely tucked up in bed at home whilst I'm making my way around the lake.  We raised over ₤3,000 last year, with a lot of help from Lesley's contacts in the wine trade!  I've set a more modest target this year but hopefully you're not fed up of me asking for sponsorship and can help raise some much needed cash for the CF Trust!

Cystic Fibrosis is the UK's most common life-threatening inherited disease, it affects over 8,000 people in the UK (including my brother Toby and myself).  Cystic Fibrosis affects the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, making it hard to breathe and digest food.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cystic Fibrosis Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
